Wayne Dalton Conversion Kit

If you have a garage door manufactured by Wayne Dalton, chances are that your lift system is an internal spring made by TorqueMaster. This tiny spring fits inside a small tube and has a much shorter lifespan as compared to a standard two inch torsion spring. Finding a replacement TorqueMaster spring, and discovering helpful how-to information can prove challenging.

We highly recommend converting your lift system to a torsion system for easier servicing and longer life of the spring. In order to calculate the correct spring for your door, you would need to locate a small white sticker on the right side of the existing tube. This number is a three digit number followed by WT (representing the weight of the door). We are offering a conversion kit for your convenience that includes the following items: 1. One or two torsion springs as needed (prices vary)2. Two cable drums3. Two torsion cables4. Torsion tube (length according to door width)5. Three bearing plates6.
